My husband and I were there on 3/26-3/27, and it was wonderful! Peggy greeted us at the door, and the first thing you notice is the calm feeling of the place. It was warm, inviting, and peaceful! We were in the Garden Suite which was just simply beautiful. It was immaculately clean, smelled wonderful and couldn't have been more inviting. We spent a lovely, relaxing night and Peggy even brought us breakfast to our room the next morning! We absolutely will return!

I just came back from two days at Whispering Pines, where I had gone to work on my novel, away from everything, even though I have my own writing retreat! At Whispering Pines I could read and write and work and take walks and be completely immersed in my task. The owners are lovely people who fed me well but left me to be on my own, only inquiring if I needed anything. Great rooms, amazing views. I heartily recommend to anyone needing a break from the stress and noise of city life.

My wife and I have stayed on two different occasions, once in the Garden Suite and once in the Mountain... wonderful atmosphere. A place like no other. We hope to return soon!

My husband and I spent 2 nights with Peggy and Mark,and was very pleased with the whole experience!Peggy met us at the door and we felt instantly at home.Our room was everything we expected,the scenery was gorgeous and Peggy's breakfast was delicious!Thank you and we will definitely be back as soon as possible

I had booked the mountain suite for a romantic night and relaxing evening and was very amazed at the view and the bed and breakfast. Our host's were great and Peggy did everything the way i asked and more. Thank you for that. A very warm atmoshere and lovely place. Also not to far at all to cripple creek. Nestled on the side of the mountains.

My wife and I needed a short get-away from our busy lives of work and kids, and Whispering Pines was just what the doctor ordered! We arrived quite late on a Sunday night due to babysitter delays, and our hosts were waiting up for us with a smile and a warm welcome! We stayed in the Mountain suite and it was like nothing I had ever seen. So beautiful! Our hosts served us an incredible breakfast the following morning that could only be rivaled by a gourmet restaurant. We will be recommending Whispering Pines to all of our friends and family, and will SURELY be visiting them again! Thanks Mark and Peggy!
